Margarita Maiden

Like the dawn of the dual-toned dresses era, theses "vintage" floral skirts are also plaguing the online shopping scene. With good reason. I know it's almost summer, but florals are very in! If you check out the overseas scene, you can see florals everywhere; dresses, skirts, the works. It's really quite pretty, if you don't overdo it. :) A cute floral mini like this will look great with a tank top (then again, I am always pairing almost everything pattern-y with tank tops). Teehee. Espadrilles too!

Yay, more dual-toned dresses! This batch are sleeveless, and you should definitely check out the variety of designs that she has. I swear, with the amount of dual-toned dresses coming out, you can totally start a collection already. 

Baby Be Dazzled

Check out the range of bows she has here! She has pussybows and small bows. Bows you can wear on your head, and bows you can wear on your clothes. Be creative. Remember that basic top you have? Jazz it up with this bow! Or be totally different, and wear this bow on your head with a totally tomboy-ish ensemble.

I couldn't decide which to review between this two, so I picked both! And I like them both cause it's different than what you'd usually see in the market. That cardigan is so not argyles, but yet I don't know what kind of print to call them. That triangle-geometrical thingamajig? Haha. A fabulous addition to your wardrobe. And that dress? The so-called boyfriend tee is so out; this plaid shirtdress is in! I like the cutting of the sleeves the length, the sash, and the fact that you can wear this as an overcoat as well. :D

I'll be honest. I only posted up the picture of the back view of the dress because I totally dig that tattoo. =X But! But! This dual-toned dress is real awesome too. I especially like the skirt part; falls really nicely on the hips, eh? Although I think I'd wear this sans tights, partly because of the weather and partly because I think this dress looks better with bare legs. :D

What is this! I wanted to review that bra t-shirt but it was already sold out and not restockable. :( Sad, it's almost the same as the one Cheesie wore in Australia. :( Oh well, this b&w vintage cars t-shirt is pretty cool as well! They'd look totally rad with skinny jeans and a vest.

Still Sisters

Sometimes, we just need an uber vintage bag to dress up a modern outfit. My favourite combination? A pair of your most well-fitting jeans, a baby tee, and this vintage sling bag. Check out the pointy flap and the tan trimmings. Absolutely cool. 

Mezzanine

Not a great fan of them super high heels, but I definitely appreciate a beautiful pair of heels. These shiny snakeskin (faux, of course!) peep toed pumps are definitely a heavenly creation. This will look so good with a plain designed dress that's just screaming to be accessorized. If you want to be a little more subtle, wear them with jeans and show off those long legs (thanks to four point freaking two five inches!!). If you wear these to the clubs, your feet will be getting more attention than your upper body thanks to the shine. xD

You absolutely have to check out the various ways they have of wearing this polka dotted thing! I don't even know what to call it, because you can wear it as a top, a dress, a skirt...and what differentiates this smocked tube from other smocked tubes is that you can tie it at the back for some sexy show of skin (if you're wearing it just as a dress, that is). 

The Aura

I love reading books. :D Any kind of books, really, so long as it's not non-fiction. I have tonnes of bookmarks, but I definitely don't have a metal one like this! This would adorn my book just nicely, seeing as it's so shiny and pretty. Such a cute chair there. Speaking of books, I really need to get some more...

Simple intertwined tube dress but with gradient tones on it! They call it the shimmer dress. How appropriate! I've always liked the simplicity of these intertwined tube dresses, and there are just so many designs! Plain ones, paint splattered ones, shimmery gradient ones...ooh! The choices are limitless. As for this one, it's ready stock! So hurry and get your hands on it.

Like this combination? Lucky you, cause they're both for sale! I especially like the tank top for its flower and leaves design. They kind of look embossed, don't you think? I'm having an addiction to shorts lately too...must be the hot weather. Oh, how I hope that I'll be able to wear formal shorts during my internship!

Don't be boring and wear only black or white to hit the clubs. Try some design and colour; like this retro piece with huge polka dots! Has a low neckline to show off that cleavage. If that's not your style, cover up with a tube underneath. Shimmy your night away with this dress. 

Moi Closette

Just like them dual-toned dresses that look like a top and skirt, these dual-toned crocheted dresses are all the rage now too. It kind of scares me that some don't have inner lining for the crocheted part, so I'll have to wear a really pretty bra. Ahem. But if they have lining, rejoice! I'd really want to get one of these, but I'm still on the lookout for The One. ;D

You know what's creepy? The fact that they actually looked like real flowers at first glance. O_O But of course, upon closer inspection, they're made of fabric and lace. Uber cool corsages, and although it seems a little weird that prom's going on in the middle of the year (ACCA students :P), you need not limit this to prom at all. Go creative and jazz up those simple outfits, or maybe even attach a scrunchy (not the rubber kind, those spoil your hair!) to the flower and transform it into a flower scrunchy.

Y'know, fashion is a strange thing. We like to keep ourselves clothed in things that make going to the toilet such a troublesome thing! But nonetheless, it still won't stop us. We still love rompers like these, especially since it has pockets (love!), and a ruched chest area. Illusion of bigger boobs. *nods sagely*

Choose For Less



Now why didn't I see this earlier? Hidden in the depths of my email inbox was this e-shop with a few delectable guy's tshirts. I don't know about your guy, but mine doesn't like wearing too flashy outfits, so graphic tshirts like this one suits him just fine. Now I feel like getting him this.

Peep



Everyone has their emo days. If you want people to steer clear from you, then wear this tshirt. But actually, I think by wearing this people will come to disturb you more. Tee hee. Anyway, wear this with dark jeans and a shiny vest! Along with heels. Peep toed ones would be nice. I think pointy heeled pumps would be nicer!

Iccy House



The ever basic spaghetti strapped top. Looks good enough if you want to wear it on its own. Also the best thing to wear under a blazer or a funky jacket, especially if the main thing you want to display is the outerwear, without suffering a heatstroke. Do hurry, cause this spaghetti top is only left in pink!

I'm leaving, on a jetplane. Don't know when I'll be back again...not. I wish I was leaving on a jetplane now, cause I am so bored and I haven't been on a holiday out of my home for a very long time! Anyways, this plane-monogrammed tank top is the sex. (Heheh copied someone's signature statement). Wear with shorts to the beach side, or with jeans to lectures, or with a skirt to the mall! So uber versatile and looks good on everyone.

My Vintage Garden



If you're still in the Gossip Girl fever, get this tube top with the super huge bow on the neckline. I think this will look delectably elegant in a high waisted black skirt of the same material as the top. Then it'll look like an LBD! Add a string of pearls and a pair of red stilettos and you'll be good to go!

Frills Shoppe

I was this close to not posting this up because I liked it so much and didn't want anyone else to buy it. But le sigh, good things are meant to be shared. Damn I'm so noble. This floral vintagey babydoll top comes with the inner racerback top! And if what I see is correct, the bustline can be adjusted by pulling the ribbon in the middle. Looks good with three quarter jeans and espadrilles.

ESN Clothing

Knee length skirts are particularly useful especially if your uni doesn't allow mini skirts. Just feel the satisfaction when you walk past them security guards and lecturers and they're unable to tell you off for wearing something revealing! Oh by the way, the above probably only applies to me. Sad, but anyway, this knee length skirt is quite chic! Not all knee length skirts equals old fashioned and prissy, as this one proves.

An Old Flame

I half thought this was a dress by itself. Silly me! But I do quite like that studded belt. Anyway, focus on the blouse. Nothing like some red-and-white stripes and ruffles to get that oldies feel. I think this will look equally good with some high-waisted shorts as well, be it denim or black ones.
The Red Tutu

Every girl needs a lingerie inspired top to wear when she feels sexy. This one is no exception. Covering the right places and exposing the midriff with sheer material, this one definitely screams sexy. If you're not too confident to wear this alone, a funky jacket calls for!

Sugar Dressing

I used to have an aversion towards flat heeled gladiators, but ever since purchasing a four inch one, I think they should be quite okay! Especially if your legs are longer than your torso, you can definitely pull this one off without looking like a complete...stump. Looks good with bare legs, meaning you have to wear this with a short skirt or shorts!

Mezzanine

Brown patent booties with a laced up back, instead of in the front. And you haven't even seen the inside yet! Lined with animal prints. Oooh. Wear this with leggings, then you can't see that they're leggings. Not exactly the whole point of leggings I know, but since I don't like them you can't blame me for suggesting that. They look equally good with skinny jeans and high waisted super short skirts as well.

Cat in a Bowl

I'll call this the LLBD. Little Lace Black Dress. It's absolutely simple, yet gorgeous! Heart shape tube and a flared skirt, alongside lace details. That extra bow makes this dress looks extra gorgeous, but I'm not sure if it comes together with the dress. Wear with purple heels!

Lush

Say hello to the 2-in-1 scarf. Skull prints on one side, and paint splatters on the other side. I'm a big fan of scarves, and this is just perfect for me. Wear with a simple tshirt and jeans or skirt and canvas shoes.

Oh, Popsicles!











Vests are coming in in all types of designs and shades lately. All the more reason for you to indulge in them. Some vests are designed to make even the plainest of tshirts look formal, and some are designed to jazz up your outfits. Take this vest, for example. It funkifies (my own word. Haha) an outfit, making that button up shirt look less formal than it previously was. Plus, don't you just dig that marching-band-style buttons? Very MCR in Welcome To The Black Parade.

Here is yet another vest. Maybe I should think about dedicating an entire post for vests. Anyway, here's a colour you don't see often. There's the electric blue I've seen, but not this shade of blue! Furthermore, it's halter style which compliments your figure compared to the conventional slip on.

Now this is an unconventional sort of dual toned dress. The top part of the dress reminds of tin foil, I have no idea why. But anyways, I like the toga feel of this mini dress. It looks right at home in the clubs, but if you put on a prissy bolero and pumps, it'll be just nice for the office.



Paper Box Couture





Instead of wearing a cardigan, why not opt for a pullover sometimes? Provided that wherever you're headed to doesn't involve basking in the sun, of course. I'm actually more interested in the ice cream, burgers, cupcakes and cakes prints on the pullover. *slurp*

What's the best and worst thing about dresses? The worst thing about them; we can't mix and match them like we do with tops and pants and skirts. The best thing? Because of the worst thing, we get to buy more dresses. But don't get me wrong, we can mix and match dresses. We can match it with vests, like in the picture! You can purchase both, but they don't come together.

Those are giraffes, right? Or maybe they're llamas. Somebody enlighten me. Nonetheless, whatever animals they are, they're pretty cute. A bit like the mobiles on baby cribs, except these are on dangly earrings.

Chubby A Bit

Fancy going a bit retro with this polka dotted dress? In navy blue, too! Navy blue was in the height of fashion in the what, 50s, 60s, 70s? I can never be able to differentiate between those eras. Wear a white framed sunnies like the model, together with bubblegum pink lipstick. Nice.

How's that for a different sort of bag? Instead of landscape, you get portrait now. If you get what I mean. So if you're not into the mainstream bags likes of hobo bags, get your hands on this baby. That is, if it's not already sold out. I'm so desperately outdated now.

Ahah! I saw a dress similar to this on a very pretty blogger like, a few months ago. Although it's not the exact copy, I think this is good enough! Halter, a bit of cleavage, and asymmetrical length. Heavy florals aren't my thing, but surprisingly I quite like this. Exceptions must be made sometimes.

What is it with me and supershort skirts lately? My legs aren't to die for, but damn I've been loving supershort skirts. Are checks still in fashion? If they are, I'd love to get this!

More demure dresses. It's white dresses like these that need colourful cinchers to go with them! As well as colourful shoes. I spotted a purple strappy patent heels from Mezzanine a few months ago. They should go well with this dress.

Did you know that yellow has the psychological ability to make someone happy? Provided that they're exposed to it in small doses though. So if you're feeling particularly down, dress up in this bright yellow toga and a white denim miniskirt. You'll be sure to feel a bit happy with the colour, not to mention the attention you get!

Lollipop in Wonderland

When I saw this overly bubbled hem, I'm reminded of a fashion show I read about in the newspapers. The resemblance would certainly be critical had this dress been in a bright splash of colour. Nonetheless, I am digging the quirky feel of this bubbly dress!
